Woman killed by NYC subway train in apparent suicide at Port Authority station during rush hour: cops

The woman, believed to be in her 60s, was hit by a southbound A train that pulled into the 42nd Street-Port Authority Bus Terminal hub minutes before 7 a.m., according to authorities and sources.The entrance to the Port Authority Bus Terminal is seen in New York, U.S. on August 12, 2008.

She was found unconscious and unresponsive on the tracks and pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
