Justin Bieber reportedly encourages Hailey Bieber’s beef with Selena Gomez because it proves her love for him.
The “Baby” crooner believes that the feud “shows that Hailey loves him — and he loves that,” a source claimed to the DailyMail on Monday.
“Justin trusts Hailey to say what she wants to say and if she gets them into some drama, he’s going to ride or die with her, whether it is about Selena or not,” they added, dubbing Justin as Hailey’s “ride or die.”
In fact, the two reportedly want “to continue to fan the flames,” but Gomez “intends to be the bigger person.”
“Everyone can be tested … Selena’s main goal is now not to worry about Hailey and Justin ever again. They are never going to be friends, and it would be great if they don’t keep having to talk about each other.”
The source furthered that the “Come and Get It” singer wants to be the “mature one” and “move on to another chapter in her life,” referring to her marriage to Benny Blanco. She would love nothing more than for “all this drama to be behind her.”
A second source told the outlet that the two women have a “professional rivalry” that is “not personal.”
“It has nothing to do with Justin at all, no matter how much people try to make it that way,” the second insider insisted, noting that if they “find themselves in the same room, they’d be very nice to each other.”
Page Six has reached out to Justin’s rep for comment, but did not immediately hear back.
Last week, the feud between Hailey, 28, and Gomez, 33, appeared to have been reignited after the model shaded other cosmetics brands — including the “Calm Down” singer’s Rare Beauty company.
During an interview with the Wall Street Journal, the Rhode Skin founder was asked how she feels about the competition with her beauty products now being sold at Sephora.
“I think there is space for everybody,” Hailey told the outlet, adding, “I don’t feel competitive with people that I’m not inspired by.”
Hailey also said it was “annoying being pitted against other people.”
A spokesperson for the nepo baby told Page Six that her comments weren’t directly “about Selena Gomez.”
However, the “Only Murders in the Building” responded to Hailey’s shady remark on her Instagram Stories, writing: “Just leave the girl alone. She can say whatever she wants.
“Doesn’t affect my life whatsoever. It’s just about relevance not intelligence. Be kind. All brands inspire me. There is room for everyone. And hopefully we can all stop.”
