Nicole Kidman returns to her roots with curly hair during visit home to Australia for first Christmas post-split

Nicole Kidman is letting loose.

Spotted in her native Sydney, Australia, for Christmas, Kidman chose to put her natural curly hair on full display, looking youthful as she attended a Christmas party with her daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Urban.

The actress was wearing a pale yellow silk slip dress with lace cap sleeves, accessorized with a pair of gold Manolo Blahnik Susa Sandals ($895) and carrying a raffia Chanel tote bag.

For the event, she wore a pale yellow satin dress with a Chanel tote bag and Manolo Blahnik sandals.

Though the tote is an older style, it is currently available on The Real Real for $4,600.

Her easy breezy curls were reminiscent of her chosen look from the ‘80s, though it was a fiery red tone back then.

Kidman has had quite a year, having announced her split from husband Keith Urban back in September.

An icon in the world of fashion and beauty, though, she quickly jumped into Fashion Month with her daughters, as Sunday Rose walked in the Christian Dior spring 2026 show in Paris less than a week later.

In keeping with the theme, the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute announced that Kidman would be one of three co-chairs for this year’s Met Gala, standing alongside Beyoncé and Venus Williams.
