Andy Cohen is setting the record straight — and he’s doing it with classic Andy flair.

After his appearance on CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live alongside longtime cohost Anderson Cooper, social media lit up with speculation that the 57-year-old had taken a trip to the plastic surgeon. One Threads user even asked, “WTF did he do to his face?!”

Cohen didn’t dodge. He fired right back.

His response? No scalpel involved.

“Did the smallest amount of Botox and lost 20 pounds! And had a lot of makeup on,” he wrote the next day.

So yes — new year, new glow… but not the kind people assumed.

The Watch What Happens Live host has already been open about his weight-loss journey. He previously revealed he shed pounds after micro-dosing a GLP-1 medication, noting that it would feel “hypocritical” not to share that publicly after years of asking celebrities their own body questions.Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper host CNN's "New Year's Eve Live" in Times Square on December 31, 2025 in New York City

“I was really unhappy with my weight,” Cohen admitted. His doctor recommended the treatment not only to help him slim down, but also to address artery plaque and high blood pressure. The medication, he said, helped control cravings and pushed him toward a more disciplined routine with food and workouts.

He calls it part of a “rigorous health journey” — and says he feels great about the decision, while acknowledging his privilege in having access to the drug. He believes it should be widely available through insurance, calling it “revolutionary.”

Cohen has since stopped micro-dosing, but says it completely reset his relationship with food, which he admitted “was terrible before this.”

And he made one thing very clear: if he’s going to ask Real Housewives the tough questions about their faces and bodies, he’s not going to pretend nothing changed for him.

He summed it up perfectly: he didn’t suddenly drop 25 pounds and just “not mention it.”
