Paris Jackson has reportedly received $65 million in benefits from the estate of her late father, Michael Jackson, according to a new court filing.
The figure was revealed in an October 9 legal document submitted by the executors of Michael’s estate. This filing came in response to a June petition by Paris, 27, in which she expressed concerns about the financial management of her father’s estate, including large legal fee payments.
“Few have benefited more from the Executors’ business judgment than Petitioner herself, who has received roughly $65 million from the Estate in benefits,” the executors stated in the filing, obtained by People. “She would have never received that had the Executors followed a typical playbook for an estate like this one in July 2009.”
The executors also highlighted how they transformed Michael Jackson’s finances since his death in 2009:
“The Executors’ business judgment has taken an estate that started out as nothing but debt and substantial ongoing obligations and turned it into a $2 billion estate — a powerhouse and a force in the music business today.”
Michael Jackson, often referred to as the “King of Pop,” left behind three children: Prince, 28; Paris, 27; and Bigi (formerly known as Blanket), 23.
Paris’ legal challenge
In her June filing, Paris questioned the $625,000 in payments to three law firms back in 2018. She claimed these payments appeared to be “lavish gratuities bestowed upon already well-compensated counsel.”
Neither Paris’ representatives nor the estate responded immediately to Page Six’s request for comment.
The dispute comes as the estate faces other legal battles. In September, court filings revealed that Wade Robson and James Safechuck are seeking $400 million in damages over sexual assault allegations against Michael Jackson.
The executors warned in a September 15 filing (obtained by Us Weekly) that if they were unable to pay mounting legal fees, the estate could be forced to default on its legal defense:
“The Estate would likely have to default … where numerous depositions, discovery matters, and other matters are scheduled to take place over the next several months, and where [Robson and Safechuck] are seeking $400 million. It would be disastrous for the Estate to default in this case.”
The Jackson estate has consistently denied these allegations, stating:
“The lawsuit has no merit and Michael is innocent.”
A family moment amid legal drama
Despite the tense court battle, Paris was seen happily reuniting with her aunt, Janet Jackson, earlier this month during Paris Fashion Week. The two warmly embraced at the Tom Ford Spring/Summer 2026 fashion show, pushing aside long-standing rumors of a strained relationship.
This rare public display of affection between Paris and Janet offered a softer, more personal moment amid an increasingly complex legal fight over one of the most famous music estates in the world.
