Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce’s off-field venture is cooking something up
Mahomes and Kelce Dominate as Chiefs Crush Raiders 31–0 in Statement Win
Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce reminded the league why they’re still the most dangerous duo in football.
Coming off a commanding 31–0 shutout over their AFC West rivals, the Las Vegas Raiders, Mahomes delivered a near-flawless performance — completing 26 of 35 passes for 286 yards and three touchdowns.
Kelce, ever the reliable target, hauled in three catches for a game-high 54 receiving yards, helping the Chiefs extend their winning streak and silence critics who doubted their offensive spark earlier this season.
With this victory, Kansas City once again looks every bit the powerhouse that’s eyeing another deep playoff run.
Now at 4-3 on the season, the Chiefs will be back in action in Week 8 for a “Monday Night Football” matchup against Jayden Daniels and the Washington Commanders. It’s going to be a home game for Kansas City at Arrowhead Stadium, with Mahomes and Kelce offering a special treat for the fans. Mahomes and Kelce have been the centerpiece of this era’s dynasty. These two superstars are now in their ninth year together, and their tenure in Kansas City has produced three Super Bowl wins over the last seven seasons.
The chemistry between Mahomes and Kelce goes beyond the field. Away from football, the two NFL stars teamed up to establish their own restaurant in Kansas City. In September, Mahomes and Kelce opened 1587 Prime, a high-end steakhouse at the Loews Hotel in downtown KC.
“Me and Travis have been working on that for awhile,” Mahomes said of the business venture in March, via Fox 4 Kansas City. “We’re always together. We’re always at these restaurants, and we have a love for bringing people together. We’re going to do whatever we can to continue to bring people together and what better place than Kansas City.”On Monday, 1587 Prime announced an exciting promotion aimed at Chiefs fans. This comes in the form of a tailgate at Arrowhead Stadium ahead of Monday’s matchup against the Commanders.
According to an Instagram post from the Kelce Brothers fan page, 1587 Prime, which Mahomes and Kelce opened in partnership with renowned restaurant and hospitality group Noble 33, will set up the tailgate in Parking Lot M of Arrowhead starting at 2:30 p.m. local time. The event will feature “a signature 1587 Prime game day taste,” merchandise, and a musical performance on the Ford Tailgate District stage right before the game starts.
