Kylie Jenner makes acting debut in Charli XCX’s new movie ‘The Moment’

Kylie Jenner is making her acting debut in Charli XCX’s new mockumentary film, “The Moment.”

The “Kardashians” star, 28, gave fans a preview of her acting skills in the film’s trailer, which was released on Thursday.

“The second people are getting sick of you, that’s when you need to go even harder,” Jenner tells the “360” hitmaker in her brief appearance.

A trailer for the mockumentary-style movie was released on Thurssday.
The movie, which is scheduled for a Jan. 30, 2026, release, follows a fictional version of Charli XCX as she struggles with fame and heightened demands of the music industry while also prepping for an arena tour.

In October, the singer explained that the idea was born out of the pressure Charli faced from her label to record a documentary of her “Brat” album and subsequent tour.

“It’s not a tour documentary or a concert film in any way, but the seed of the idea was conceived from this idea of being pressured to make one,” Charli told Vanity Fair at the time.

“It’s fiction, but it’s the realest depiction of the music industry that I’ve ever seen,” she continued.

“It’s fiction, but it’s the realest depiction of the music industry that I’ve ever seen,” Charli said of the movie in October.
Jenner stars as herself in the film, in what she previously described as a “very small part” during her November appearance on her sister Khloé Kardashian’s “Khloe in Wonderland” podcast.

“Oh my god. For the Charli movie coming out, I was — Khloé, I was so scared for days to actually do it. I had a very small part. I mean, I had a lot of lines, but I was just so afraid,” she said.

“I think I used to do a lot more things out of my comfort zone, and now I’m used to being very sheltered, staying in like a, you know, safe box for me.”

“It’s probably the reason why I don’t share as much, just to not be judged or criticized or — years of that takes a toll on you and I think at a certain point you’re like, ‘Okay, I’m going to do A, B, and C to just protect myself’ … I was very scared to do this and very proud of myself when I did it,” Jenner added.

The star-studded cast also includes Alexander Skarsgård, Kate Bertlant and Rachel Sennott.

The Kylie Cosmetics founder has been expanding her talents in recent months. In October, she shocked her fans when she released her first original song, “Fourth Strike.”

Pubbed under her “King Kylie” alter-ego, the reality TV star sang and rapped over the quirky pop beat. Though, the song didn’t appear to land well among fans as many criticized Jenner’s excessive autotune on the track.
