Fired on the spot: US nurse sacked after swearing and wishing White House press secretary would suffer severe childbirth complications.

A left-wing maternity nurse was fired after wishing a severe childbirth injury on pregnant White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt.

Alexis ‘Lexie’ Lawler, was dismissed from Baptist Health Boca Raton Regional Hospital after saying in a TikTok video that she would like to see Leavitt, 28, suffer a fourth-degree tear.

‘As a labor and delivery nurse, it gives me great joy to wish Karoline Leavitt a fourth-degree tear,’ Lawler said in the now-deleted video. ‘I hope that you f***ing rip from bow to stern and never s*** normally again, you c***.’

The injury Lawler was referring to often requires immediate surgical repair to prevent incontinence and infection and can cause long-term chronic pain.

Last month, Leavitt announced she was expecting her second child with Nicholas Riccio, her 60-year-old husband of one year.

Lawler’s words about Leavitt were widely circulated on social media, and led supporters of President Donald Trump to call for her firing.

A spokesperson for Baptist Health confirmed to CBS12 that Lawler is no longer employed at the Boca Raton hospital.

‘The comments made in a social media video by a nurse at one of our facilities do not reflect our values or the standards we expect of healthcare professionals,’ the spokesperson said. ‘Following a prompt review, the individual is no longer employed by our health system.’

‘While we respect the right to personal opinions, there is no place in healthcare for language or behavior that calls into question a caregiver’s ability to provide compassionate, unbiased care,’ the spokesperson continued.

Boca Raton Mayor Scott also commented on Lawler’s firing, saying that he had been ‘in touch with hospital leadership’ as soon as learned about the video.

‘These disgusting comments have no place in medicine or in our community,’ he added.

Lawler’s nursing license is still active, according to a review of a database from the Florida Department of Health.

A GoFundMe has been created on behalf of Lawler that has raised just over $1,000 as of Saturday evening.

‘Lexie Lawler was fired for political speech,’ the fundraiser’s description read. ‘She is a liberal woman who used her personal social media – on her own time – to sharply criticize a public figure tied to a cruel, harmful administration. Her words were blunt, angry, and unapologetic. They were directed at power, not her workplace.’

‘If you believe liberal women shouldn’t lose their livelihoods for refusing to tone it down, stand with Lexie,’ it continued.

The GoFundMe was created by Unlawful Threads, a company that sells anti-Trump shirts online.

The shirts are emblazoned with messages that criticize agents with Immigration and Customs Enforcement and demand the release of the Epstein files. Most of them needle Trump himself.
