As part of the NFL’s My Cause My Cleats initiative, Chiefs players will wear custom-designed cleats to raise awareness for non-profit organizations and important causes that resonate deeply with them.
Now in its ninth season, My Cause My Cleats has become the NFL’s premier player-driven campaign, giving athletes, coaches, and staff the chance to shine a spotlight on initiatives that inspire them — from cancer prevention and health awareness to social justice, mental health, and youth empowerment. This year, more than 1,800 players, coaches, staff, and NFL Legends are taking part league-wide, and the Chiefs are proudly joining the movement.
For Sunday’s matchup against the Indianapolis Colts, fans can expect to see Chiefs players rocking one-of-a-kind cleats representing causes close to their hearts. But the experience goes far beyond the field. In collaboration with Stand Together, a philanthropic community that empowers changemakers, a brand-new online database allows fans to dive deeper into each player’s cause. Supporters can learn more about the organizations, donate directly, bid on game-worn cleats, and even design their own AI-generated cleats inspired by causes they care about — all powered by Adobe Firefly.
Fans will also be able to contribute through Rayze, the donation platform founded by NFL Legend Carl Nassib, where 100% of proceeds go directly to the charitable foundations players are supporting. This is a chance for Chiefs Kingdom to not just cheer on their heroes on the field, but to join them in making a meaningful difference off the field.
