Suella Braverman has despaired at the “demonisation” of patriotism in Britain as she unveiled plans for a “patriotic curriculum” across the country’s schools.
Speaking to GB News from the CPAC GB conference in London, the Reform UK MP argued white working-class boys are being “betrayed”.
She said: “I was really honoured to talk about the plight of white working class children, in particular white working class boys.
“They are the the least privileged in our society, there’s no other way of putting it.”
The party’s education spokesman stressed white working-class boys are currently the “most likely to end up in prison” compared to other demographics.
Mrs Braverman explained: “They have the worst educational outcomes in our country, and they’re more likely to end up as a NEET – that’s a young person who’s not in education, employment or training.
“They’re more likely to end up in prison. Suicide is the biggest killer for men under 50, often many of those are from working-class backgrounds and society, I believe.”
