Just days after celebrating one of the happiest moments of his life, Travis Kelce has another reason to smile.
The NFL has officially unveiled its annual Top 100 Players list, and despite entering his 14th season, Kelce once again earned his place among the league’s elite, coming in at No. 79.
At first glance, the ranking tells two very different stories.
For some, it reflects the reality that time catches up with every great player. Kelce is no longer ranked inside the NFL’s Top 10 as he was during the peak of his career, and his numbers naturally aren’t as explosive as they once were.
But for Chiefs Kingdom, the ranking tells a different story.
Even at 36 years old, Kelce remains one of the most respected players in football.
Last season, he recorded 76 receptions, 851 receiving yards, and five touchdowns, all while playing in an offense that battled injuries and lacked the explosive rhythm fans had grown accustomed to seeing.
Yet opposing defenses still treated No. 87 as Kansas City’s biggest receiving threat.
That says everything.
Perhaps the most remarkable achievement isn’t this year’s ranking—it’s the consistency behind it.
This marks the 11th consecutive season that Travis Kelce has been voted into the NFL Top 100, a level of sustained excellence few players at any position ever achieve.
And there may still be more left in the tank.
With Eric Bieniemy returning to help reshape the offense, a stronger running game expected to create more balance, and young playmakers continuing to develop, Kelce could find more opportunities than he had during the past two seasons.
Whether this becomes the final chapter of his legendary career remains unknown.
But one thing isn’t.
No matter where he ranks on a list…
No matter how many seasons are left…
Travis Kelce has already earned his place among the greatest players to ever wear a Chiefs uniform.
And Chiefs Kingdom will be behind No. 87 every step of the way.
❤️💛 Congratulations on another well-deserved NFL Top 100 selection, Travis!
