The beloved couple, who have affectionately been dubbed ‘Swarla’ by viewers, got their happily-ever-after despite various dramas, though the instalment didn’t come without a twist as a scream was heard late in the night.

While the soap will soon begin its big murder-mystery storyline, several viewers were more than happy to bask in the glow of Weatherfield’s newest married couple, and they were thrilled by how the wedding day turned out for Carla and Lisa.
