King Charles stepped out in Windsor last weekend.
King Charles was seen telling staff at the Easter Sunday service that he wanted to make time to engage with well-wishers outside of the church in Windsor. The 76-year-old led the royals at the annual event on April 5, with many of his family members joining him – including his wife Queen Camilla.
The King was also joined by his son Prince William and his family, including his wife and three young children. It marks their first appearance at the annual service since 2023.
Speaking on behalf of Betfair Casino, lip reading expert Nicola Hickling said that she believes the King said to his staff to not rush him as he spoke to well-wishers.
She said that the King appeared to tell those around him, “Happy Easter everyone. A very happy Easter,” before adding, “Don’t rush me”.
Princess Anne and her husband Sir Timothy Laurence also joined the King and Queen last weekend.
Prince Edward was joined by his son, 18-year-old James, Earl of Wessex, with his wife and daughter noticeably absent.
Palace insiders confirmed on the day that Duchess Sophie’s absence was due to illness.
Lady Louise Windsor, 22, was likely absent due to her university studies in Scotland.
As well as Peter Phillips, the King was also joined by his nephew, Peter Phillips, and his daughters, Savannah and Isla. His fiancée Harriert Sperling also joined her husban-to be and bought along her daughter Georgina.
