Woman Explains How She Juggles Life as an NFL Cheerleader and Active-Duty Airman — and Honestly, She Rarely Sleeps

Jess Ahner - woman splits time between jobs in air force and nfl cheerleading.

Jess Ahner is living two totally different dreams at once — and she’s not giving up either of them.

On TikTok, where she’s racked up more than 224,000 followers, Ahner shows what it really looks like to split her time between serving on active duty in the U.S. Air Force and cheering on the sidelines for the Baltimore Ravens. Her calendar is packed, but her attitude is pure “worth it.”

During NFL season, you can catch her pretty much anywhere: on the field hyping up a stadium, on base in uniform, or sleeping on a red-eye between jobs. Sometimes she’s in sequins, sometimes in combat boots — both suits her perfectly.

She still sneaks in moments of normal life too. In a December TikTok jokingly titled “2025 through mirror selfies,” she shared nights out, casual outfits and quick snapshots from the whirlwind.

Earlier this year, Ahner posted photos from what she called “another chaotic 48ish hours in my life,” giving fans a timestamped play-by-play of the double-life grind. It started with sunrise in Las Vegas on day one of a new Air Force assignment — and just hours later, she was already headed home to catch a flight back to Baltimore.

By evening she was staring into the mirror, laughing at herself while getting ready for a red-eye. She looked exhausted on the plane, but her caption told the real story: she was just grateful to be flying back to dance another game.

Once she landed in Maryland, it was nap → glam → game day. She ate, made it to the stadium early, practiced with her squad and hit the field again with full hair, full makeup and full energy. After cheering through the night — and catching All Time Low’s halftime show — she was back in traffic at nearly midnight, Taco Bell in hand, finally crashing into bed around 1:30 a.m.

And then? Airport again.

The last photos show her early-morning mirror selfie and a pre-flight breakfast of pastries and Diet Coke before her five-hour trip back to Vegas.

“Made it to the airport and time for my 5 hour flight back to Vegas!!! 10/10 weekend 🎉 GO RAVENS!!!” she wrote.

Two careers, countless flights, barely any sleep — and zero regrets.
