Kevin’s Back… Kind Of! Macaulay Culkin Teases “Home Alone” Sequel Where He’s the One Getting Trapped

It turns out Kevin McCallister might finally be getting his comeuppance — but this time, he’s not the one setting the traps. Nope, it’s his kid.

Macaulay Culkin, now 45 and a full-time dad, spilled the (very funny) idea during his A Nostalgic Night with Macaulay Culkin tour on Sunday. “I’m either a widower or divorced,” he said, “raising a kid, working too much, not paying enough attention… and then, bam, I get locked out. My kid won’t let me in.”

Forget Harry and Marv — Kevin’s mischievous offspring would be the masterminds behind the booby traps. Cue flashbacks of paint cans, tarantulas, and those legendary slapstick injuries, now aimed at Dad.

Culkin, who was celebrating the 35th anniversary of Home Alone, admits he wouldn’t totally rule out making a sequel happen — but only if it’s “just right.”

Meanwhile, in real life, his kids, Dakota, 4, and Carson, 3, have zero idea that Dad was once the terror of burglars everywhere. “They have no idea I’m Kevin,” he joked.

And just when fans thought they’d heard every behind-the-scenes story, Culkin dropped a gem about Joe Pesci. Apparently, the My Cousin Vinny star left him with a 35-year-old souvenir: a scar from when Pesci bit his finger during rehearsal. “He said, ‘I’m going to bite these fingers off one at a time,’” Culkin recounted. “And he actually did! I was like, ‘Ahhh!’”

Pesci did apologize (eventually), but that tiny finger divot is still a hilarious reminder that some Home Alone moments are painfully real.Joe Pesci, Macaulay Culkin, Daniel Stern trong bộ phim "Ở nhà một mình" năm 1990.

So, could Kevin McCallister’s next adventure involve him dodging traps set by his own kid? Culkin’s cryptically hopeful: “It would have to be just right.” One thing’s for sure — if it happens, parents everywhere might finally get a taste of their own medicine.
