Jenna Bush Hager Fearlessly Chops Her Hair Off Just 9 Minutes Before Going Live 😱✂️

Because who doesn’t love a little chaos before showtime?

Jenna Bush Hager proved once again she’s unshakable under pressure — even when it involves a last-second makeover. The Jenna & Friends host revealed on Instagram that she got a spontaneous haircut literally nine minutes before the cameras started rolling on Tuesday, Nov. 11.

The video shows Jenna in the chair, draped in a black cape, fully trusting celebrity hairstylist Chris McMillan (yes… that Chris McMillan 👀) as he parts her hair perfectly down the middle.

“You know what happens when he’s here?” Jenna, 43, tells the camera.

“We don’t mess around. We get right to business,” McMillan fires back.

Jenna echoes: “We get straight to it.”

And straight to it they did — even as she shouted “TWO MINUTES TO AIR!” while McMillan calmly kept snipping like it was a normal Tuesday morning. Eventually he gives the green light: “We’re good to go. I’m happy.”

Cue Jenna sprinting out of the glam room while still getting her hair blow-dried. 🏃‍♀️💨

She captioned the whole moment:
“A fresh trim nine minutes before the show starts? No problem! 😉 @mrchrismcmillan killed it as usual! #jennaandfriends”

Why the Chop? The Leslie Bibb Effect ✂️✨

Jenna’s spur-of-the-moment cut lined up perfectly with her guest co-host of the week — Leslie Bibb!

Bibb’s iconic mid-neck bob (aka the viral “c— little bob” / CLB) from The White Lotus Season 3 became a pop-culture moment — and yes, it was created by McMillan himself, the same stylist behind the legendary Rachel haircut.

“This haircut has really taken off,” Bibb told PEOPLE in June. “I joked with Chris, ‘Oh, you did the Rachel — now you’ve got the c— little bob.’”

Back in June, when Bibb previously co-hosted Jenna & Friends, Jenna debuted her very own version of the actress’ blonde bob.

“This is my hair,” Jenna announced onstage, comparing herself to a character from Single White Female after copying Bibb’s cut so closely.

But Bibb was quick to hype her up:
“You don’t look strange. You look sexy and powerful and glamorous… you’re a badass.”
