Sarah Ferguson ‘standing by’ disgraced ex Prince Andrew after they’re stripped of royal titles following Virginia Giuffre scandal

Sarah Ferguson is “standing by” her disgraced ex-husband Prince Andrew as he has lost almost every relic of his royal life, friends told Page Six.Prince Andrew, in a black top hat, black coat and pink tie and brown waistcoat, and Sarah Ferguson, in a yellow dress and green hat, at Royal Ascot.

It was announced Friday that the prince, 65, would be giving up his titles — including the Duke of York —and all honors amid the ongoing Jeffrey Epstein scandal.

As a result, Ferguson, who has been divorced from Andrew since 1996 even though the two live together, will no longer be allowed to use her Duchess of York title.

Still, “Sarah will always stand by Andrew, she will always have love for him,” one friend told Page Six. “Sarah is relaxed … it’s always been a courtesy title.”Prince Andrew,in a black jacket and jeans, and Jeffrey Epstein, I black jack ant jeans, walking together in New York's Central Park.

The news comes just ahead of the Oct. 21 publication of a posthumous memoir by Virginia Giuffre, the Jeffrey Epstein sexual assault victim who alleged that she was forced by to sleep with Andrew when she was just 16.

In “Nobody’s Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice,” Giuffre wrote how Andrew allegedly kissed her feet before having sex with her.Prince Andrew, I a blue hot and dark pants, Virginia Roberts-Giuffre in a pink t-shirt and metallic pants, and Ghislaine Maxwell, in a white top and black pants.

“He was friendly enough, but still entitled — as if he believed having sex with me was his birthright,” Giuffre wrote in the book, which has been seen by Page Six.

In 2022, Andrew settled with Giuffre, who took her own life in April, for a reported $12 million after she brought a sex-abuse lawsuit against him.

“I have decided, as I always have, to put my duty to my family and country first,” the prince wrote in a statement released by Buckingham Palace Friday. “I stand by my decision five years ago to stand back from public life.”Prince Andrew attending the Coronation of King Charles III.

Andrew stepped down as a working royal in 2022, after his mother, the late Queen Elizabeth, stripped him of his military titles as well as “His Royal Highness.”

In 2019, after Epstein’s death, she wrote on Instagram, “Andrew is a true and real gentleman and is stoically steadfast to not only his duty but also his kindness and goodness of always seeing the best in people.

The 66-year-old known as Fergie has also become embroiled in the Epstein saga,

Just days ago, it was reported that she had apologized to the pedophile — who died at New York City’s Metropolitan Correctional Center in 2019 — for her public rejection of him, writing in a 2011 email, “You have always been a steadfast, generous and supreme friend to me and my family.”

She had previously admitted to borrowing around $20,000 from Epstein.https://pagesix.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/3/2025/10/100-years-beatrice-born-trio-21681306.jpg?resize=464,600&quality=75&strip=all

In the wake of the new revelations, Ferguson was dropped a string of charities, including Julia’s House, a children’s hospice, which said it was”inappropriate” for her to continue in the role.

The Teenage Cancer Trust, Natasha Allergy Research Foundation, Children’s Literacy Charity, National Foundation for Retired Service Animals and Prevent Breast Cancer also announced they had dropped Ferguson as a patron. The British Heart Foundation said she would no longer be its ambassador.

Although multiple sources have told Page Six that King Charles has been desperately keen to move Andrew and Fergie out of their shared home on the Windsor Estate, Buckingham Palace said Andrew continues to have a tenancy agreement with the Crown Estate, which is unaffected by his issues.Princess Beatrice, in a pink dress,Sarah Ferguson,in a blue tp and green skrt, and Princess Eugenie . in a black jacket, dark top top and green skirt.

While the latest disgrace may be embarrassing for Andrew and Sarah’s daughters, Princess Beatrice, 37, and Princess Eugenie, 35, they will be unaffected by this latest issue with their parents.
