Jennifer Lawrence Dazzles in a Plunging Halterneck Gown at London Premiere
Jennifer Lawrence looked nothing short of sensational as she graced the red carpet in London in a daring plunging halterneck dress.
The Oscar-winning actress exuded effortless elegance in a floor-length black gown, which featured a bold underboob cut-out and a sleek, flowing hemline. The striking look was for the London premiere of her new film Die My Love — a psychological black comedy in which Lawrence not only stars as Grace, a struggling mother, but also takes the helm as director.
The 35-year-old paired her chic black dress with a gold choker necklace adorned with a delicate drop pendant. She wore her blonde hair poker straight with a soft fringe framing her face. Her makeup was classic and understated: fluttery lashes, a touch of black mascara and a statement ruby red lip.
On the red carpet, Lawrence posed like a seasoned pro, flashing a sultry glance over her shoulder and striking confident hands-on-hips poses for the cameras.
The film, which also stars Robert Pattinson, received a standing ovation at its world premiere during the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year.
A Powerful Story
Die My Love tells the harrowing story of a woman who spirals into postpartum depression before descending into psychosis — a role Lawrence described as “heartbreaking” but deeply meaningful.
As a mother herself, she shared how motherhood has profoundly shaped her craft:
“I didn’t know that I could feel so much,” she said. “My job has a lot to do with emotion … and they’ve changed me creatively. I highly recommend having kids if you want to be an actor.”
Off Screen
Away from the spotlight, Lawrence has been married to Cooke Maroney — an art gallery director — since 2019. The couple wed at the historic Belcourt of Newport mansion in Rhode Island.
In 2022, after welcoming their son Cy Maroney-Lawrence, the actress opened up about becoming a mother for the first time, telling Vogue:
“It felt like my whole life had started over. I just stared. I was just so in love. I also fell in love with all babies everywhere. Newborns are just so amazing.”
Before marrying Maroney, Lawrence famously dated Nicholas Hoult for four years after meeting on the set of X-Men: First Class in 2010. She later had a relationship with filmmaker Darren Aronofsky following their collaboration on Mother! in 2016.
With her striking red carpet appearance and a powerful new film under her belt, Jennifer Lawrence continues to shine — both on and off screen. ✨
