Gwyneth Paltrow isn’t exactly keeping up with the Kardashians.
The founder of Goop admitted she had no idea that Kylie Jenner — a young mom of two — is the woman her Marty Supreme co-star Timothée Chalamet has been dating.
In an interview published Wednesday with British Vogue, the 53-year-old actress confessed she often gets teased for not “knowing anything,” recalling how she once praised Chalamet for dating “a young woman who has two kids.”
“I was like, ‘That’s so cool. I really love to hear that from a young man like you,’” she explained. “I understand a 45-year-old who has his own kids going out with a woman with kids, but it’s a cool choice [for him]. I respect it. I think it’s kind of punk rock.”
Paltrow herself had two children — daughter Apple, now 21, and son Moses, 19 — when she began dating her now-husband Brad Falchuk.
She admitted she didn’t even realize it was Kylie Jenner whom Chalamet has been romantically linked to since 2023. Jenner shares her daughter Stormi Webster, 7, and son Aire Webster, 3, with her ex-boyfriend Travis Scott.
Since their split, Jenner and the Golden Globe–nominated actor have kept their relationship very private. The reality star only followed Chalamet on Instagram this past summer. Notably, the Dune: Messiah star doesn’t follow anyone on the platform — including Jenner.
In August 2024, Jenner told British Vogue that “privacy is so important to” her and that keeping their romance low-key “feels so good.” She later echoed that sentiment in June 2025 during an interview with Dazed, saying she’s learned to find “a good balance with sharing.”
Jenner and Chalamet made their red carpet debut at the David di Donatello Awards in Rome earlier this year. They were also spotted at a New York Yankees game and the New York Film Festival premiere of Marty Supreme.
The couple’s romance, which began in 2023, has largely stayed under wraps. But the two have been seen enjoying quiet outings and supporting each other at major events, further solidifying their low-profile but steady relationship.
