A stylish couple at the center of a British Transport Police photo appeal over an alleged assault and racial abuse in London have been revealed as Philip Ostermann, a Munich-based private equity associate director, and Melissa Rein Lively, a Trump-supporting PR consultant and founder of the world’s first anti-woke PR agency, America First.
The incident reportedly happened October 11 at Bond Street station when a family with two young children, one in a pushchair, collided with the woman in the police photo. The dispute escalated when the man allegedly shouted abuse, and claimed to spray pepper spray at the family. While no one was seriously hurt, the shocking encounter has drawn widespread attention online.
Melissa Rein Lively, 40, is known for her “MAGA look” – long blonde hair, veneers, Botox – a style she says signals her support for Donald Trump. She previously made headlines in 2020 after destroying a rack of face masks in a Target store, boasting about her $40,000 Rolex, and has publicly expressed admiration for Ivanka Trump and Lara Trump.
Her controversial past also includes encounters with QAnon conspiracy theories, which she has described as deeply traumatic, leading to psychiatric evaluation and a profound shift in her worldview.
Philip Ostermann, meanwhile, is a private equity professional with offices in Munich, Tokyo, and South Carolina, and was slated to speak at a high-profile finance conference in mid-October. The couple have also been spotted together internationally, including Venice and Florida.
BTP tweeted the photo of the pair and are asking anyone with information to contact them. If you recognize them, authorities urge you to text BTP on 61016, reference 413 of 12 October.
The internet has been buzzing as sleuths identified the couple, while their alleged political and social views, along with their public antics, have added fuel to the fire. The investigation is ongoing, and both have been asked to comment.
