After a year of unanswered questions, prosecutors have finally charged Jordan Willis and Ivory J. Carson in the deaths of three friends found frozen and lifeless outside a Kansas City home after watching a Chiefs game in January 2024.
Victims Clayton McGeeney (36), Ricky Johnson (38), and David Harrington (37) died from a deadly mix of fentanyl and cocaine, authorities said.
🔹 Willis and Carson now face charges of involuntary manslaughter and drug distribution, each carrying up to 10 years in prison.
🔹 DNA evidence tied Willis to a bag of cocaine and Carson to a bag of fentanyl found at the scene.
🔹 The chilling discovery came after McGeeney’s fiancée broke into Willis’s home when the men didn’t return for two days.
“This sends a message,” said Kansas City Police Chief Stacey Graves. “If you bring fentanyl into our community, you will be held accountable.”
The case, which once baffled the nation, now exposes a night of partying gone tragically wrong — and a stark warning about the silent killer that continues to claim lives across America.
